Salman’s “dhobi pachad” act in the last trailer of Sultan, in which he was seen beating his opponent to pulp and the recently released second teaser of Sultan which reveals Anushka Sharma’s power-packed role in the film

The recent teaser shows “Haryani ki sherni”, Anushka Sharma in the role of Aarfa, the tough woman Haryanvi wrestler, who nonchalantly takes on her opponent male wrestler and proves her supremacy in the sport. Behind the scenes is the voiceover of Salman Khan who introduces the woman he admires and talks about woman-power in our country.

MORE ABOUT THE FILM::
Starring Salman as wrestler Sultan Ali Khan, Randeep Hooda as his coach and Anushka Sharma as the female protagonist, Sultan is the big Eid release this year which is set to hit the theatres on July 6, 2016. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the Yash Raj Film showcases the life story of Sultan and the challenges he had to face on the professional and personal front.
 
 
WHAT’S NEW::
A. The sports drama will see Salman Khan in a killer look playing the role of Sultan Ali Khan, a Haryana based wrestling champion, who is hailed as Haryana ki jaan and Haryana ki shaan.
B. The first teaser showed his heroic arrival in the akhada even as he displays his brawny look and rippling muscles, throwing his rival in one go, as praises echo in the background.
C. The film will see Salman displaying his wrestling moves and also his expertise in mixed martial arts. The superstar specially trained in mixed martial arts under famed international action director, Larnell Stovall, who was specially flown in from Los Angeles.
D. Among the highlight action scenes are the ones in which Salman will be seen fighting against America’s mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Tyron Woodley. E. This is the first time that Anushka will be seen opposite Salman Khan on screen. In the film, Anushka plays the role of a wrestling champion, completely different from any of the roles she has attempted so far. The actress had earlier showed some of her wrestling moves, in a pictured she shared on her Twitter account.
F. Kai Po Che! actor Amit Sadh will be playing Salman Khan’s younger brother in the film.
G. One of the highlights of the film is an electrifying dance number, Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai, that has been choreographed by Farah Khan and picturised on Salman and Anushka with around 100 dancers, against the rustic backdrop of Punjab. The song has been rendered by Badshah, who is hailed as a youth sensation and currently rules the party space with his hit numbers like Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai and Kar Gayi Chulli.
H. Another number that is being talked about is the heart-rending emotional number, Jag Ghumiya, that has been rendered by Salman Khan. The celebratory song, which is being already described as a potential chartbuster, will also be picturised on Salman.

While the Indian audiences are always tuned in to cricket more than any other sport, this film will take the sport of wrestling to an altogether new level, what with Salman Khan playing the role of the legendary wrestling Haryanvi champion. Supported by Anushka Sharma in an all-new avatar, with great action and Vishal-Shekhar’s magical musical score, there are no two ways about the fact that this Eid release will rock at the box-office.
